Lauren Sheehan: “Rose City Ramble” CD

Lauren Sheehan is fast becoming a legend in country blues circles. She is a trove of countless songs, all respecting tradition yet richly infused with her personal style.
Lauren’s new CD, “Rose City Ramble,” recorded in 2010, takes another step forward and is a wonderful collection of blues, ballads, country and new folk. It also features a compelling live track from her concert at the 2009 The Port Townsend Acoustic Blues Festival.
Lauren’s strong voice and guitar playing are joined, on different tracks, by some of her favorite Portland musicians: Terry Robb, Johnnie Ward, Dean Meuller, Greg Clarke, Laura Quigley, Betsy Branch, Elizabeth Nicholson, Michael Ballash and Zoe Carpenter. Release parties will be in April, 2011 followed by touring.
